After a wonderful cooked breakfast on Monday we set off and drove a mere 50 km up the road to Cliff Head South, a free camp where one can stay for up to 72 hours. This is such a wonderful spot, right on the beach as it is with phone, internet and TV connectivity, clean toilets and views over the Indian Ocean to die for. We passed time for the two days we were here by reading books, taking walks along the beach, collecting various bits of flotsam and jetsam including pieces of broken down fishing nets to add to a publicly created hanging art installation and watching the most incredible sunsets over the Indian Ocean. We were also treated to the presence of a great many beautiful small birds during our stay. All in all this was a very relaxing two days.
