Days 18 and 19 - Sandy Cape Recreation Park - Friday 26th and Saturday 27th May 2017

Friday was spent in much the same manner as the previous day or two. Lazy days by the beach with the occasional walk to the lookout or along the beach. Helen and Pete were variously out on their kayak or joining us on the walks as indeed were Carol and Ian. Friday evening we enjoyed a delicious roast pork cooked over the open fire - given that I don't like pork that was saying something.

Saturday morning Helen and Pete packed up and left quite early. We have discovered a leak from our grey water plumbing so we are delaying our departure so as to be in Geraldton during the week. The remainder of the day was spent once again either reading books, walking the beach and to the lookout and generally just relaxing. Sue is still suffering a small amount of pain from the tooth socket but this will ease over time. At one point during the day a sea-lion came close to the beach and decided to spend some time frolicking with the locals including Sue. Another evening spent around the campfire - this time just the four of us.
