Today's destination was Coffin Bay National Park at the southwestern end of the Eyre Peninsula. On the way we stopped off at Arno Bay to explore the lovely mangrove boardwalk. Built by local volunteers this tourist draw-card is well worth the stop should you happen to be in the area. Then it was on to Port Lincoln near the southeastern tip of the Peninsula. We took advantage of the larger town to shop at Coles and Woolworths and importantly to get a roast chicken for dinner. Now suitably equipped with various foodstuffs we headed for Coffin Bay National Park and specifically the Yangie Bay campground. This is a beautiful spot right on the water and the campsite was excellent having recently been refurbished by National Parks South Australia. After watching a beautiful sunset and checking out the wallabies in the campground we turned in for the night quite early as we were both very tired.
